Supreme Academy has been teaching children in Madhyapur Thimi since 2058 BS. We run classes from Nursery to Grade 12, with Science, Management, Law and Humanities in the plus two level. This year the school completes 25 years.

About the school
Supreme Academy opened its doors in 2058 BS at Kamerotar, Madhyapur Thimi. What started as a small school is now a full campus that teaches children from Nursery all the way to Grade 12.
We follow the national curriculum, but we do not stop at the textbook. Every class takes part in project work, presentations, small group workshops and field visits through the year. Students learn to speak in front of people, work in a team and solve problems on their own. That is what parents tell us they notice first.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome all parents, guardians, students and well wishers to the new academic session. Supreme Academy has now completed 25 years, and in that time we have built a school that pays attention to both study and character.
We support each student to reach their own academic goal. Alongside the national curriculum we give real weight to creativity, integrity, respect and self discipline. Small group workshops and project work are part of how we teach, not an extra.
As an 'A' grade school we have added smart boards in every classroom, a separate ICT lab and library, and a futsal hall. We also work with CCA Nepal, NCMAS, Shikshya Bikash Sanjal and G8 Edu Forum so that our students are tested and trained to a standard beyond our own walls. We work closely with parents so that an already good school keeps getting better.

Courses we offer
Four levels, one campus. A child can join us at Nursery and finish plus two without ever changing school.
Play based learning where children pick up rhymes, colours, drawing, early letters and numbers. Just as important, they learn to share, to speak in a group and to sit through a class before formal school begins.
Reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies taught in small groups. Handwriting class and abacus run alongside the main subjects, and every child takes part in project work and class presentations.
The full national secondary course leading to the SEE examination. Students work in the science lab and computer lab, build robotics projects with Arduino, and compete at level wise and inter school competitions.
Four streams under the National Examination Board curriculum, with career counselling, educational tours and a felicitation programme for every graduating batch.
Plus two, Grade 11 and 12
All four streams follow the National Examination Board curriculum. Compulsory English, Nepali and Social Studies run across every stream.
For students planning medicine, engineering, IT, agriculture or pure science.
For students planning BBA, BBS, chartered accountancy, banking or their own business.
For students planning BA LLB, public service, or a career in the legal field.
For students planning social science, journalism, teaching, psychology or civil service.
Facilities
Every classroom has a smart board, from Nursery to Grade 12.
A separate computer lab where students learn the digital course with CCA Nepal.
A quiet reading room with course books, reference books and story books.
Practical work for secondary and plus two students, plus the yearly science exhibition.
An indoor futsal hall used for practice, house matches and the Supreme SEE Cup.
Boys and girls teams train here and play at G8 inter school level.
Grade 6 and 7 build working Arduino projects such as gas leak alarms and distance sensors.
Every grade travels each year, from valley visits for juniors to Mustang and Ilam for seniors.
Health screening camps, awareness programmes and career counselling for senior students.
Results and achievements
Our SEE students have been finishing between 3.9 and 4.0 GPA since 2074 BS. Outside the classroom our students bring home medals in sport, speech, writing and art.
Best GPA achieved by Supreme Academy students
Apsara Khatri of Grade 12 secured first place.
Ten medals including two gold and four silver, and third place overall in the competition organised by Madhyapur Thimi Municipality.
First position in the senior girls futsal competition.
Podium finishes in senior girls basketball and in both junior and senior table tennis.
Winning and top ten places at the district competition held by Elevate Circle Club, Bhaktapur.
Runner up at senior level and first runner up at junior level.
Beyond the classroom
Our annual calendar is full from Baishakh to Chaitra. Students compete between the Janak and Buddha houses, take the stage on festival days, and travel outside the valley on educational tours. This is where confidence gets built.
Running race, high jump, long jump, futsal, basketball, tug of war, sack race and more.
Oratory, news reading, poetry recitation, essay writing, quiz and debate at internal and inter school level.
Drawing and painting, handwriting, abacus, single dance, folk dance and drama competitions.
Dashain, Tihar, Saraswati Puja, Mha Puja, Teej, Janai Purnima, Christmas, Mother's Day and Father's Day.

My daughter joined in Nursery and is now in Grade 9. The teachers know her by name and they call us before a problem becomes big. That is the reason we never moved her.
I joined Supreme Academy in Grade 11 and completed my Grade 12 there, where I strengthened my communication skills, confidence, and academic foundation.
The plus two counselling helped me choose Management instead of following my friends into Science. Two years later I know it was the right call.
